SHS Enterprise Services offers long term partnership agreements with customers allowing us to implement long term (5, 7, 10+ years) strategic and operational goals through the entire Siemens Healthineers portfolio which can include Imaging Equipment and Services, Diagnostics, Education and Workforce, Digital Solutions, Consulting, etc., for both Siemens and Multi-Vendor install base.


This role will be a finance business partner to the sales team to develop exclusive finance solutions and pricing strategies along with risk adverse reviews to initiate contract negotiations.



Your Role:



  • Developing finance solutions and pricing strategy prior to the bid phase for our Value Partnerships.

  • Considering financials, deal structuring, business forecasting, risk review to assist with bid proposals.

  • Using financial modeling and commercial risk management in analysis.

  • Drive digitalization and business model initiatives.

  • Review deals with non-standard terms to ensure viability of discounts & gross margins.

  • Leading protection of company assets, application of control procedures, and financial planning and reporting within stated guidelines and policies.

  • Providing recommendations based on advanced root cause and alternative solution analysis.

  • Develop and present TCO models across, service and equipment for the entire Healthineers portfolio.

  • Growing sales and financing programs for customer segments including financial analysis/deal modeling and deal strategy/structure.

  • Owning commercial/contract activities, pricing, margin calculations.


Your Expertise:



  • Engaging in a customer facing role with C-Suite Customers and SHS Senior executives and stakeholders.

  • Striving to drive profitable growth and customer retention through the development of pricing, deal structuring, performance share solutions for the largest IDN accounts and Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO's).

  • Understanding and staying abreast of current Value Partnerships and Multi-Vendor Medical Imaging market conditions and the competitive landscape.

  • Most contracts/bids require an understanding of the entire Healthcare business including all associated pricing models. Individual IDN deals, which are being negotiated with financial, customer facing support from this position, carry an average of $5M to $30M in annual revenue, which agreements under this position can determine revenues of up to $50M to $500M in a single negotiation.

  • Collaborating with sales to assist with development strategic account planning across all Business Areas of Healthineers. Strategic planning and development of proposals and the interplay between GPO, IDN, and IDN subnetworks is a key element in the scope of this role.


Required Skills, Education and Experience for this position:



  • BS/BA in related discipline or an advanced degree may be substituted for experience.

  • 8-10+ years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of responsibilities as presented above.

  • Demonstrated extensive knowledge in field of specialization or multiple disciplines to the successful completion of complex assignments preferred.

  • Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of organization's business practices and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution of those issues preferred.

  • Experience in Long Term Value Partnerships and/or Multi-Vendor market would be a plus.

  • Ability to understand and communicate complex financial concepts including rate of return, depreciation, working capital, investments, and financial and expense performance comparisons. Conforms to accounting guidelines.
