Job Description:

Position Summary

Plan, direct, and coordinate the work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing die castings in pursuit of delivering good parts on-time, productively. This position provides leadership on all facets of the manufacturing operation and has Lean Manufacturing passion, experience and proven track record.

Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks


  • Directly manages and holds accountable Department Managers and or Supervisors.

  • Assigns projects and standard work to these leaders.

  • Responsible for staffing levels and work schedules that match customer demand, resulting in achieving monthly On-Time Delivery and Paid to Earned performance metrics.

  • Partners with the General Manager to Lead Managements commitment to developing and maintaining a thriving Lean Culture.

  • Performs Daily, Weekly and Monthly standard work as assigned by General Manager.

  • Conducts and approves all performance reviews with direct reports and their subordinate’s on-time.

  • Leads monthly plant employee meetings to communicate critical information.

  • Leads and maintains a consistency with rewarding and disciplining behavior and results.

  • Coordinate and recommend the replacement of machines, or the need for additional capacity or capability.

  • Serve as TS Process Owner to support the on-going compliance to the TCDC internal quality system.

  • Responsible for knowing and following all environmental, health and safety rules, policies, and procedures for work area and takes responsibility to assure that personal work activity is conducted in such a way so as to not affect the safety of themselves or others.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience


  • Vocational or technical education, related on-the-job experience, or an associate's degree.
