Effectively set up production jobs on all CNC equipment
Can generate and edit all types of CNC programs on all CNC machines
Perform layouts on cores to establish data for off-line programming
Generate NC code off-line using CAD/CAM software
Trouble shoot any/all CNC related issues
Assist in design of CNC fixtures
Perform spindle/bed alignments as prescribed
Assist maintenance in machine P.M. work as needed
Perform simple, routine maintenance as prescribed
Complete all paper work to company standards in a timely manner.
Create new part programs
Edit part programs on all machines
Modify part programs per quality and/or engineering and customer request.
Generate NC code off-line using layout and CAD/CAM resources
Assist in design of tooling and fixturing
Perform routine maintenance as prescribed
Provide technical support to set up technicians
Interface with engineering, operators, set up techs, and maintenance
Review and judge the quality of CNC finished product
Perform dimensional radial height checks
Provide technical support during off shift/weekend times as needed
Assist in machine P.M. work
Perform spindle/bed alignments as prescribed
Program vision system aided machine
Perform other related duties as needed to support the manufacturing effort
Maintain high attendance record
Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner
Be knowledgeable and well versed in over-finish scrap
