Intern, Financial Planning & Analysis at Coherent Corp. in Warrendale, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide financial assistance to the Financial Planning & Analysis team.
• Assist in designing financial reports and presentations.
• Support in the preparation of variance analysis comparing Actuals vs. Forecast vs. Budget
• Assist in consolidation and review of Forecasts.
• Assist in review and improvement of internal financial processes.
• Perform additional ad-hoc requests as assigned.

• Actively working toward a Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Previous working experience is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong reporting and analytical abilities
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Eagerness to learn

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize

Working conditions typical of a climate controlled and professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
