The ideal candidate will deliver personalized investment solutions to help clients work toward their long-term financial goals. They should be be comfortable creating financial plans and cross checking work to ensure complete accuracy of information.
Pay is $50,000-75,000 DOE.
Responsibilities
Establish and maintain the accounting systems of small business clients.
Support investment professionals to cultivate client relationships
Prepare financial statements, analyze performance, and make recommendations for business issues requiring corrective action
Oversee bookkeeper duties
Oversee and approve payroll and prepare all required payroll tax reports
Manage budgets and forecasts
Prepare Excel spreadsheets, Word docs & presentations
Maintain the client work-in-progress status report, logging all incoming work and checking off work elements as they are completed
Prepare personal and entity tax returns
Maintain excellent client relationships
Qualifications
CPA or EA is required
Must be highly skilled in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
5+ years' in a public accounting field
3+ years of tax preparation experience
Strong understanding of the investment business
Excellent interpersonal skills
