Job Description

The Mortgage Project Lead acts as liaison between Ent's Mortgage Department, IT and the Mortgage Technical Analyst (MTA) team. This person is responsible for providing business analysis, resource coordination, and managing the project lifecycle development process from initiation to implementation within the Mortgage Lending area. The Mortgage Project Lead maintains organizational effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic goals for implementing Mortgage projects and technologies. This individual works independently and with teams on a variety of projects and demonstrates positive leadership skills. This position is expected to have the technical and business knowledge to identify and document functional solutions to complex requirements.

Essential Functions


  • Project Leadership / Business Analysis: Provide leadership in project management for projects within Mortgage business units. Ensure project management life cycle is followed. Major deliverables: Project Scope, Project Charters, Project Plan, Communication Plans, Request for Proposal (RFP)/ Request for Information (RFI), Requirements and/or Specification Documents, Risk Plans, Project Status Updates, and Post Mortem Analysis.

  • Analysis Support: Provide business analysis support to Mortgage Lending to facilitate process re-engineering, create process diagrams and ensure definition of project scope and requirements. Major deliverables: Requirements; Specification Documents; Process Diagrams.

  • Process Improvement: Drive and recommend improvements to Mortgage processes and procedures. Oversee creation of new documents and updates to existing documents.

  • Professional development: Administrative duties Attending seminars and classes and attending staff meetings as required.

  • Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Ent policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.

Qualifications

Minimum Formal Qualifications for this Position


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or similar

  • 3+ years' of applicable work experience related to project management and/or Mortgage Lending, Consumer Lending or Finance


Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of a bachelor's degree in accounting and 2+ years of account experience could be substituted for a high school diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a master's degree in accounting and 0 years of work experience.

Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:


  • In-depth knowledge of financial business functions

  • Expertise in business analysis techniques: process definition, cost/benefit analysis, proposal preparation

  • Expertise in document preparation

  • Proficiency with use of project management tools (MS Project)

  • Proficiency with use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Proficient with use of process flow methodology and tools (MicroGraphics, Flow Charter, Visio)

  • Basic understanding of project management techniques, processes, and methodologies

  • (preferred) Strong understanding of project management techniques, processes, and methodologies

  • (preferred) Strong knowledge of Symitar


Certifications Required:
  • PMP Certification or experience in ISO, CMM or similar standards preferred

Additional Information

The pay range for this position is: $30.26 to $39.72 per Hour (S15)

Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, certifications, and internal pay equity.

This position is eligible for our corporate bonus program based on company performance.
