Infosys is seeking a Senior IBM MQ Consultant with support and development experience. As a Senior IBM MQ Consultant, you will be a key player in the project team that helps the Client by maintaining their MQ landscape. You will lead the team, handle major incident calls, resolving incidents & service requests within the SLA. You will be performing production deployments, regular patching etc. Be an innovator, create SOP documents, automations for better administration. The role requires a deeper understanding of the different technologies and their corresponding configurations. Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of relevant Information Technology experience
  • U.S. Citizens or those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply. We are not able to sponsor it at this time.
  • The location for this position is Pittsburgh, PA. This position may require travel to project/client location.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in IBM MQ support.
  • IBM MQ Administration on distributed platforms like Linux, Windows, and Mainframe.
  • Experience of leading the team.
  • Experience in performing IBM MQ version upgrades, patching etc.
  • Hands on experience on MQ Appliances, MQ IPT, MQ on Mainframe.
  • Working Knowledge of incident and alert tracking tools like ServiceNow, Jira, Moogsoft, Grafana, Prometheus.

  • Resolving incidents & service requests within the SLA.

  • Lead the project team effectively & ensure no SLA misses and escalations from Client.
  • Performing production deployments.
  • Create SOP documents, automations for better administration.
  • Administer and manage MQ publish subscribe.
  • Administer and manage MQ clusters.
  • Support DR activities.
  • Work in shifts on weekdays/week ends (first or second shifts only) if required as per project needs.
  • Closely work with the client/business and the team at offshore.
  • Guide the team members as and when required.
