Inventory and Quality Process Manager - Saint Charles, MO

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the inventory controls and governance to both Inventory and quality standards within the logistics 3PL network. This role will be primary point of contact for inventory management and governance and will work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy of data across all relevant systems, provide governance in controlling loss, and adherence to processes involved with managing Royal Canin inventory of finished goods within the logistics network, as well as working with the logistics teams in process management of the Mars Distribution Quality Management Standards. This role requires up to 20% travel.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Equivalent experience


• 3-5 Years of experience in Inventory Management


• Broad knowledge of Logistics, Distribution, and Transportation processes
  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


• Excellent Verbal Communication


• Ability to b uilds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Develop governance processes for Inventory controls in compliance with Mars finance manual.


• Preparing and communicating periodic reporting on inventory control measures


• Maintain and perform analysis and reporting which supports various Supply Chain Distribution functions and measures and enhancements to support with cost savings.


• Lead the analysis and provide statistical information on the tracking of product shipments, returns, and inventory.


• Train 3PL suppliers in governance procedure and monitor adherence.


• Manage data Integrity of 3PL systems aligned with Royal Canin Master Data


• New Item Setup within 3PL network


• Work with stakeholders both Internal and external on Inventory reconciliation processes within 3PL network.


• Develop and manage product loss reporting.


• Provide audits of 3PL inventory control procedures


• Develop continuous improvement practices to ensure inventory accuracy with highest degree of efficiency.
