The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who will oversee the company's financial records and account personnel. You will be responsible for maintaining all procedures and controls related to the company's financial accounts.
Responsibilities
Oversee preparation of financial statements • Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable as well as all assets and liabilities • Direct Finance Manager and department operations • Implement policies and procedures for financial reporting • Work closely with the leadership team to identify areas to reduce costs • Understand the financial status of a company to meet legal requirements and keep the financial state in good standing • Review financial statements to determine the corporation's financial health and take action accordingly • Manage the month-end closing process and ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly in a timely manner • Manages the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes including variance analysis to ensure accurate, timely, and relevant financial reporting • Maintain adequate accounting systems access controls, and internal controls and ensure control of confidential and proprietary information. • Support analytical needs including project analysis and variance reporting. • Manage the coordination and completion of annual financial audits. • Coordination with a tax accountant on annual income tax returns. • Assist with the preparation of the Company's annual operating and capital budget • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by management • Provide cash management of multiple bank accounts and invest excess funds • Oversee the Human Resources department as related to financial reporting and monitor payroll documents.
Oversee corporate risk management policies • Provide sales and commission reports
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 5 - 7 years of related experience
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
