Senior Compensation Analyst

Position Overview:
As a Senior Compensation Analyst, you'll contribute to the team as a subject matter expert to help manage compensation programs across Insulet. You'll help to lead the continued implementation ad education around our newly designed compensation framework. With a focus on employee and manager education and communication this person will help weave the new structure into our culture, while helping to create new processes along the way. The Senior Comp Analyst will provide Workday support to the Total Rewards team. This role will be a member of the team to support that manages annual review cycle, including merit increases, promotions and adjustments, short-term incentives and equity planning. This individual is a partner to the HR team, business leaders, and other internal stakeholders.

This role reports to the Senior Director, Compensation, and collaborates with HR partners, Talent Acquisition and other HR teams, Finance partners, and the Legal team.

Responsibilities:


  • Provides analytical support to compensation projects including global survey submissions, competitive market studies, pay equity analysis, job architecture alignment, salary structure development and annual merit budget development. Model costs and employee impact analysis.

  • Collaborate with HR business partners on annual benchmarking, pay decisions and policies, including offers, promotions, internal transfers, and compensation philosophy.
    Provide advice to HR Business Partners, Recruiters, and leaders on pay decisions, policy, incentive practices and guideline interpretation.

  • Partners to ensure effective compensation program management including plan design, documentation and communication to employees.

  • Evaluate positions using job evaluation methodology, determines market pricing and market value ranges; ensure compliance with FLSA law. Reviews and monitors employee pay and recommends reviews.

  • Provides analytical support, model compensation scenarios, and makes compensation recommendations. Provides analytical support for ad hoc research and other related compensation projects. Solves complex problems and takes a new perspective on existing solutions. May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or have accountability for ongoing activities.

  • Serve as functional lead for compensation team for Workday. Plus, ongoing SME support for Workday Total Rewards.

  • Respond to ad hoc compensation questions.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Command over compensation fundamentals - job matching and market pricing, equity mechanics, and annual reward cycle management, total rewards program design, regulatory reporting
• 4+ years of compensation, HR or People operations experience
• Prior Workday experience preferred but not required

Preferred Skills/Competencies:
• Thorough understanding of compensation practices, and employee lifecycle.
• Strong background in data integrity analytics, data visualization, dashboard creation, audit and ability to use analysis to drive decision making.
• Organizational skills to prioritize workflow and respond to conflicting deadlines.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment where the business is constantly evolving
• Strong team collaborator, and project manager
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification (or in progress) preferred

Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $87,900.00 - $132,150.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
