Wood is currently looking for a Senior Manager to take responsibility for our Key Client portfolio in our Houston, TX Consulting office.
The Senior Manager, Key Clients principal objectives are to win, plan, direct and ensure work is executed in a manner which fully meets the Client's and Wood's objectives. Projects within the Key Client portfolio are all clients and projects delivered from our Houston office outside of established programs. The Key Client portfolio represents a sizable proportion of the regional O&G business and represents business growth opportunity. The Senior Manager, Key Clients will be responsible for leading a team of Program Leads and Project Managers who are partially established and delivering small programs/portfolios of projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with program leads, business development and proposal teams to identify, pursue and win projects with target clients
Work with business development and program leads to grow target client accounts by delivering value and expanding services
Ensure successful delivery of projects with the remit of the Key Clients program
Active member of the O&G Americas Leadership team and supports the development and delivery of the strategy including financial targets and people engagement initiatives
Work with Program Leads, Project Managers and the Finance team to deliver the as-sold margin of projects and ensure timely issuance of invoices and receipt of payment
Report summary of project performance within Key Client portfolio
Address project issues within Key Clients portfolio as required
Coach program leads and project managers to support their development and achieve business goals
Establish and monitor KPIs for Program Leads within the Key Client portfolio.
QUALIFICATIONS
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Engineering or Business
15-20+ years of experience in project and/or program management preferably within an engineering consulting organization and subsea industry
Experience managing multi-disciplined teams
Experience leading teams of greater than 20 people
History of coaching and mentoring team members, including supporting development plans
Demonstrated understanding of business, industry and client drivers
Excellent communication (spoken and written) and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders
Excellent time management and prioritization ability, being able to balance the needs of multiple stakeholders
Must be a US citizen, or authorized to work lawfully in the US, without sponsorship from Wood.
