We are currently seeking an Advisory Senior Manager to join us in our San Francisco office.
Business Effectiveness professionals help clients streamline and combine people, processes, technology, and controls to improve operating effectiveness, lower costs, reduce redundancy, and lower risks. The team focuses on physical operations and supply chain management improvements including manufacturing, distribution, logistics, procurement, sourcing, and inventory management.
Responsibilities:
• Lead multiple client engagements and work streams related to back end supply chain and operational improvement projects in the High-tech industry
• Help execute process transformation, measurable improved operational performance, and organizational restructuring
• Establish client value propositions that tie financial metrics and CFO focus areas directly to operations business improvement
• Help lead proposal development and other new business development activities by leveraging new and existing relationships with C-level executives
• Provide oversight of highly skilled client and KPMG work teams throughout the project lifecycle and help ensure timely execution of project deliverables
• Participate in continual development and publication of thought leadership and service offerings
• Manage, motivate and develop team members
• Manage multiple concurrent engagement teams
• Assist the Partners with practice administration including: resource allocation, career development of staff, and other people management decisions
Qualifications:
• Eight years experience in both a client service role from a management consulting firm and a corporate operating role running a P&L
• High Tech industry experience related to back end supply chain operations (reverse logistics, warehousing, outsourcing/3PL, cost reduction), service operations, business process reengineering, product lifecycle management, sourcing/contract management and operational restructuring
• Deep Industry experience in the High Tech industry
• Functional understanding of Supply Chain related IT infrastructure
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Operations from an accredited college/university
• Demonstrated business development capabilities at a professional services firm
• Experience managing multiple client engagements
• Demonstrated ability for developing relationships with senior clients
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Global experience preferred
• Ability to travel extensively
