SUMMARY: Responsible for the management of the daily operation of inventory, warehousing functions, and the physical facilities of the warehouse.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide efficient and cost effective shipping and receiving of customers' freight. Direct, train, and coordinate the activities of warehouse persons. Meet revenue and cost containment budget levels. Work closely with other departments to ensure that operational service offering meets customers requirements.EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in business, transportation or related field; or a combination of post high school and equal experience may be substituted for education.

EXPERIENCE: 5 - 10 years of warehouse management/supervision experience. International transportation experience preferred.

TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word.

COMPENTENCIES: Ability to apply skill sets and demonstrate proven experience developing, improving and streamlining processes to meet established goals and objectives. Ability to effectively manage projects that may vary in nature and scope.

OTHER: Bilingual and must be able to bend, reach, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

JOB SCOPE: Position impacts multiple business units/segments.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Works both inside an office environment and also outside in conditions of both high and low temperatures. May be exposed to odors, dust, dirt, mechanical hazards, high noise levels and potentially dangerous equipment. Must be able to crouch and stoop to get into areas with restricted headroom and be able to climb ladders. May require extended use of computer keyboard and viewing of computer monitor and ability to sit for long periods of time.
