Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Scheduler Level II to oversee and manage project schedules, ensuring efficient coordination and timely completion of projects. In this role, you will lead project schedule analysis, attend construction meetings, collaborate on problem-solving, coordinate with external schedulers, communicate effectively through various channels, assess project portfolios, and oversee a substantial project portfolio. Additionally, you will contribute to developing scheduling procedures and process mapping to streamline scheduling activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain project control systems for cost estimating, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to establish schedules, performance metrics, and project analysis.
  • Monitor project performance, identify issues, and provide recommendations for corrective action to ensure projects remain on track.
  • Provide regular status reports and updates to project stakeholders on project progress, including budget, schedule, and risk management.
  • Maintain project documentation, including cost estimates, schedules, risk assessments, and procedures.
  • Attend construction meetings regularly, providing support and participating in problem-solving discussions.
  • Coordinate with external schedulers or Project Manager to address project issues and conflicts.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess portfolios, prioritize projects, and manage risks.
  • Take ownership of overseeing and managing project portfolios, implementing strategies for successful completion.
  • Contribute to the development of scheduling procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members on best scheduling practices.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in scheduling project controls experience.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in developing scheduling procedures and process mapping.
  • Experience in utilities, construction, oil and gas, or renewable energy industries is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications (not required)
  • PMI certified PMP or similar certification (CAPM, PMI-SP).
  • AACE certification (CCT, CST, CCP, or PSP).
