We're seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician to join our CMC department. In this role, you'll be instrumental in supporting fundamental analytical testing tasks. We welcome candidates with a background in laboratory environments or undergraduates experienced in academic labs.
Responsibilities:
Maintaining Lab Cleanliness: Keep the laboratory environment pristine by washing glassware and ensuring overall cleanliness.
Sample Organization: Efficiently manage samples and maintain meticulous documentation of sample details for seamless workflow.
Analytical Testing Assistance: Provide valuable support for basic analytical testing methods, including HPLC, GC/MS, and IC/MS, aiding in the generation of reliable data.
Lab Operations Support: Assist in general lab duties such as equipment upkeep and calibration to guarantee accurate testing conditions.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the CMC team to accomplish various tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency of lab operations.
Requirements:
Educational Background: Preferred Bachelor's degree in a scientific field, or equivalent experience.
Lab Experience: Previous experience in a laboratory environment, whether in academic labs or internships, is advantageous.
Physical Capability: Ability to lift and handle items weighing 30-40 lbs, crucial for lab equipment and material handling.
Analytical Skills: Familiarity with basic analytical techniques, such as HPLC, GC/MS, and IC/MS, is beneficial but not mandatory.
Key Attributes: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are also vital for effective collaboration within the team.
