SUMMARY:

The Manager of Engineering Programs leads and supports a production team in building projects based on customer-supplied drawings and specifications. This role assists with the design of new products and/or applications, trains and guides staff, and oversees projects, reports, data and analysis.

JOB DUTIES

• Manages and approves product drawings and specifications.
• Assists with the design of products and/or applications that meet customer specifications.
• Trains and guides new technicians in the creation/building of new products and/or applications.
• Oversees key projects, processes and performance reports, data and analysis.
• Manages design engineering activities including product design, system configuration and project management. Manages a team of professional employees.
• Supports manufacturing and production through process development, process improvement, test development and other quality engineering activities.
• May be responsible for purchasing and procurement.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Leads and supports a production team in building projects based on customer-supplied drawings and specifications.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Typically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and five (5) to (7) years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
