SUMMARY:
The Manager of Engineering Programs leads and supports a production team in building projects based on customer-supplied drawings and specifications. This role assists with the design of new products and/or applications, trains and guides staff, and oversees projects, reports, data and analysis.
JOB DUTIES
Manages and approves product drawings and specifications.
Assists with the design of products and/or applications that meet customer specifications.
Trains and guides new technicians in the creation/building of new products and/or applications.
Oversees key projects, processes and performance reports, data and analysis.
Manages design engineering activities including product design, system configuration and project management. Manages a team of professional employees.
Supports manufacturing and production through process development, process improvement, test development and other quality engineering activities.
May be responsible for purchasing and procurement.
Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Typically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and five (5) to (7) years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
