Responsibilities
Develop and maintain quality management systems and procedures within the quality control department and relevant to company-wide quality control activities.
Oversee adherence to IATF quality standards, policies, and procedures by all company personnel.
Incorporate procedures in the WCS quality control manual, and maintain, update and revise manual as necessary.
Participate in production planning meetings to understand and provide any assistance/information required by the departments.
Participate in pre-production planning on all new parts and engineering changes.
Supervise department members, providing definition of duties, regular direction, assign special projects as necessary, and schedule time and shift.
Respond to customer concerns, apply problem-solving techniques to find permanent corrective actions to prevent recurrence of concerns.
Participate in customer discussions regarding quality issues and procedures.
Participate in audit procedure to assess level of adherence to established procedures, institute corrective action and follow up where necessary.
Qualifications
5 years minimum experience in the quality field.
Knowledge of various statistical quality control techniques.
Ability to use problem solving tools and techniques.
Effectively interact with customers and suppliers on quality issues.
Knowledge of IATF 16949 policies and procedures required
