Job Summary:
Due to an expanding workload, Salas O'Brien is looking to recruit a Senior Healthcare Engineer (Mechanical) to cover both our Southern California and Arizona regions.
Your role will focus on leading and developing a growing team of engineers and designers on Healthcare-focused projects, together with technical direction and project delivery oversight. The role is an ideal opportunity for somebody looking to take the next step in their career in Senior Management.
You will be a great fit if you have:
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license
LEED certification/experience
8+ years' experience working as a mechanical engineer across a range of healthcare projects, including Acute Care facilities, and well versed in the technical requirements of healthcare design and HCAI.
Knowledge of the design of HVAC systems
Knowledge and understanding of codes, standards, and design guidelines
Skills/abilities:
Excellent work ethic and attitude
Background in Healthcare design
Good business development skills to expand existing and grow new client relationships
Good communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work
Ability to lead a team and work as a team
Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, and MS Office
Ability to travel
