Our client is looking for a Staff Data Scientist to join their team. You will take the lead in developing and fine-tuning their predictive ML models. The role is hybrid on-site 3 days a week and 2 days remote. Their office is in Long Island City, NY. Comp is anywhere between $170-190K base + bonus.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
ML Model Development
Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform model development and optimization
Feature Engineering
Model Evaluation
Deployment and Integration: Deploy models and integrate them into our products through APIs
Research and Innovation
Requirements
Proven experience as a Data Scientist with a track record of developing and deploying predictive ML models
Expertise in machine learning techniques, classification, clustering, and deep learning
Proficiency in data manipulation, feature engineering, and model evaluation
Strong programming skills in Python and experience with libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn
