Hybrid Remote preferred but 100% is negotiable- We are seeking a qualified and licensed P&C SR Broker-SVP for a private national broker out of Downtown, Chicago (Team collaboration and excellent culture)
P&C Private Equity experience preferred, but most importantly upper mid market, large and complex account experience. (Loss sensitive, high deductible, captive and self insured retention experience highly desired)
Our Property & Casualty Brokers provide high-quality service to our clients. In the private equity M&A space, they work to ensure satisfaction by balancing the quality of service and speed of response.
In this role, the Broker:
Markets renewals and new business.
Evaluates existing coverages and makes recommendations as needed.
Supports due diligence activities for existing and prospective clients.
Rounds out accounts as opportunities arise.
Maintains a significant relationship with the underwriting community, particularly in the M&A space.
Negotiates with underwriters to provide the best possible coverage and rates according to underwriting guidelines.
Receives, reviews and forwards invoices, policies, endorsements and other documents as necessary.
Markets specialized coverages as needed.
Authorizes the release of Certificates of Insurance, Binders, and all post placement documentation.
Audits policies for compliance with internal procedures.
Prepares proposals for clients and potential clients.
Visits clients as necessary to ensure client satisfaction.
