Job Summary: We are offering a unique position where you will build and own your own financial advisory business using the established resources and leads of Trust Capital Fiduciary Advisors. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Financial Advisor/Owner who may already own their book of business to join our team and lead our firm to new heights. In this role, you will be responsible for providing retirement plan investment advisory and employee education services, personalized financial planning and investment management services to clients, overseeing business operations, and helping to steer the strategic direction of the firm. This position requires a blend of hands-on financial expertise, excellent client relationship management, and strong leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Advisory:
  • Provide comprehensive financial planning, including investment advice, retirement planning, estate planning, tax planning, and risk management.
  • Convert existing prospect base into new investment advisory clients.
  • Manage existing qualified plan sponsors.
  • Create quarterly investment reviews using the Trust Capital's software.
  • Assess client needs, goals, and risk tolerance, and recommend tailored financial solutions.
  • Monitor client portfolios, make adjustments as needed, and provide ongoing advice and support.
  • Business Operations:
  • Assist in managing daily operations, including compliance, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Implement and optimize business processes and the client experience to ensure efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Oversee administrative tasks such as recordkeeping and client documentation.
  • Assist with the overall marketing plan, social media and lead generation services.

Leadership and Strategy:
  • Help set the vision and strategic direction of the firm, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
  • Assist with building the firm into the premier financial planning office in the region.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to adapt business practices accordingly.
  • Assist with developing a long term succession strategy.

Client Development and Retention:
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering exceptional customer service.
  • Develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and marketing strategies with a focus on the firm's existing retirement plan prospect base.
  • Conduct client reviews and maintain regular communication to stay informed of their changing needs.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; advanced degree (e.g. AIF, ChFC, CFP) is a plus.
  • Several years of experience as a financial advisor or similar role with a sustainable book of business.
  • Strong knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a team (if applicable).
