Financial Data Analyst - Hybrid on site/remote - Bonus eligible position.
Growing insurance industry company looking to add to their data and financial analysis team. This person should be literate and well versed in financial analysis in a data driven (SQL) environment to contribute to a company that is experiencing consistent and steady growth. Responsibilities:
Analyze & interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
Create and maintain reports and dashboards that effectively communicate complex data in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Accounting, Data Infrastructure, and Actuarial.
Present findings and insights in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies and apply that knowledge to improve processes and analysis techniques.
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience in a data analysis role
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills, with experience using statistical modeling and data analysis software (such as SAS, R, or Python)
Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools (such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView)
Experience in the insurance industry is a plus, but not required.
