Associate, Investor Relations - Commercial Real Estate - Newport Beach, CA
A leading industrial real estate firm focusing on mixed use industrial/commercial properties is seeking an Investor Relations Associate to join their Investor Relations and Marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Investor Relations, this person will be responsible for managing all existing investor communications, responding to investor inquiries and supporting the firms product launches and fundraising efforts.
Responsibilities
Oversee the preparation, accuracy and dissemination of firm materials for quarterly and annual investor meetings, including fund investor reports
Coordinate investor correspondence and external company messaging, including investment announcements, performance updates and financial reporting
Lead the documentation and onboarding process for new investors and manage the investor portal platform
Play a key role in the creation, updating and tracking of fundraising material and ongoing fundraising support, including pitchbooks, conference presentations and educational materials
Assist with all capital raise activities, including investor outreach and reporting, development of new product launches and subscription and partnership agreements
Requirements
Bachelors in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related field
3+ years of private funds investor relations/fundraising experience, ideally in the commercial/industrial real estate, capital markets or investment banking sectors
Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and the entire Microsoft Office Suite
Strong understanding of financial modeling and valuation concepts
Analytical, organized, with excellent project management skills and high attention to detail
Proficient in polished written and oral communication and a team player
Creative in simplifying complex financial data into clear messages
