Robert Half has a client with a Network Engineer position available at a client in the West metro in Twin Cities. The focus of this role is to join a team that is behind on their support and growth needed with their network.
Responsibilities
Updating switches hitting end of life
Updating Firewalls (They use Cisco ISA and Firepower)
Planning on a Cisco SDWan upgrade from their current Cisco iWAN product
Refreshing access points
Adding new locations that need to be built out and added to the network
Rebuilding their MDF in a south metro location and replacing most of their switch stack
Qualifications
Experience supporting and working strategically at an engineer level with Cisco network equipment
Ability to bring opinions to the table around new network related upgrades and refreshes
