About the Position

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will:
Work with a team of engineers to advance their cumulative technical knowledge.
Report/train the rest of your team with your understanding of industry trends by exploring all the latest technologies and attending most available technical conferences.
Test new platforms to gain understanding of what each platform is and why they are designed the way they are.
Lead a team with infrastructure/cloud knowledge (e.g. AWS).
Collaborate with the Product Team to enhance current offerings with new technology ideas.
Requirements
To be considered candidates must live in in the greater Austin metropolitan area or be able to relocate to Austin (Relocation Reimbursement is available).
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science from a Top University.
Over 7 years of experience in Software Engineering.
Highly skilled in Cloud Technologies (AWS) and Data Engineering.
An effective communicator with product managers and mentor to junior engineers.
Have the desire to stay ahead of industry trends and can frequently attend technology conferences.
