Job Title: ServiceNow Custom App Developer

Work Location: Santa Clara, CA (Onsite)

Job Description:

  • high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)
  • with the product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation, and delivery of high-quality products to our users.
  • software that is simple to use to allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific needs.

To be successful in this role, we are seeking someone who:
  • at least 8+ years of software engineering experience, and a solid background in software development.
  • worked on the ServiceNow platform building custom apps.
  • full stack development experience using at least one of the following programming languages: Java, C#, Python, Go, JavaScript.
  • experience with UI frameworks like Angular JS.
  • experience and a good understanding of SQL, JSON, Ajax, HTML, jQuery, and XML concepts.
  • technical experience building web services using REST/SOAP-based APIs.
  • experience with Agile Software development processes.
  • a passion for writing secure, readable, modular, and maintainable code.
  • about the security and performance of the system.
  • translating business problems into software & technical requirements.
  • and is skilled in diagnosing complex issues and troubleshooting code
  • verbal, and written communication skills and can articulate technical aspects to the stakeholders.
  • high coding standards & can maintain them even when the pressure is on
  • perform unit/integration testing.
  • a passionate team player who is willing to go the extra mile to achieve the team goals and takes the team along with him/her towards success.

Education
  • degree or better in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline
