The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will lead cybersecurity initiatives, develop and maintain security controls and procedures, and design tools and policies to fortify IT security programs.
Senior Cybersecurity Engineer Responsibilities:
Spearhead cybersecurity efforts, focusing on designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls and procedures.
Define and enforce Security Standards aligned with industry best practices, emphasizing tool and policy development.
Manage security operations, respond to incidents promptly, and conduct proactive threat hunting.
Oversee response actions for critical cyber events and establish a robust vulnerability management program.
Coordinate cross-team efforts for timely security updates and patches.
Drive security remediation activities and manage Identity and Access Management solutions.
Develop internal tools to enhance security posture and contribute to business continuity planning.
Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and coordinate with internal teams and third-party providers for incident response.
Senior Cybersecurity Engineer Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
Minimum 8 years of network engineering experience, with cybersecurity focus.
CISM or CISSP certifications preferred.
Proficiency in security principles, tools, and solutions.
Experience in cybersecurity documentation, incident response, and OT/IoT protection.
Proficiency in Linux and Windows server administration.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
