Our client a private equity owned manufacturing company is seeking an Interim Controller.
Position Summary - Interim Controller
Some of the responsibilities include:
Lead the companies accounting and finance organization, develop and implement financial and operational plans under various growth scenarios.
Monthly Close
Provide accurate and clean reporting of financial statements in a timely and efficient manner
Responsible for accounting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, internal controls, financial systems, audit, reporting, treasury, insurance, and tax
Responsible for maintaining monthly and quarterly financial updates for the Board of Directors, the investor community (private equity and banks), external auditors, analysts, and all other external parties that require financial information
Work with senior management to develop and implement strategic business plans and operating initiatives
Work with senior management on major transactions
Understand the business operations, from top line to bottom line, and the related levers that drive both
Oversee accounting team
Requirements
Prior experience as Controller or Accounting Manager
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field
CPA highly desired
Experience with ERP systems
Ability to work with all departments of company
Excellent interpersonal written and communication skills
Education & Experience
5 to 10 years experience with middle market or public companies
Current in GAAP
Team development
Cross function interface
Report writing
Advanced Excel
Oracle Experience Preferred
Bachelors in accounting or finance, MBA preferred
CPA with large public firm experience preferred

Compensation
Annual base compensation for this role includes base salary, an annual bonus plan, and stock options. The Company has a competitive benefits package.
