The Software Developer position is responsible for providing technical expertise, innovative thinking, production support, and leadership as part of the IS Application Development team.


Detailed Description:

The Software Developer is responsible for application design, implementation, and support in the following areas:


Technical Skills:


  • Use software development experience to review and develop system designs and/or perform specific technical tasks like developing applications.

  • Lead projects where you would own a technical, business facing, or project management role

  • Create Logical/Physical Architecture and Data Models for complex systems.

Leadership Skills:


  • Participate in educational, personal growth, and cross-training opportunities

  • Lead or work as a part of a project team to meet or exceed customer expectations

  • Initiate, lead, and implement process improvements

  • Lead and develop project plans and resource loading plans, following solid project

  • management principles for small to large scale projects

  • Lead projects where you would own a technical, business facing, or project management role

Tactical Skills:

  • Lead the implementation of software solutions (in-house and purchased applications) utilizing the full range of the software development life cycle activities (i.e. analysis, design, implementation, deployment and ongoing support of application solutions)

  • Research problems, define changes, prepare, test, and install changes

  • Builds an understanding of business process flows and how to support them

  • Work with the business to develop functional design specifications

  • Tier II/III Support and participate in 24/7 on call rotation

We're looking for current and future leaders who thrive in fast-paced environments. The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Business Administration or related field

  • We are targeted well-rounded technical professionals with a minimum of 4-6 years of software development experience.

  • Desire to grow and take on new challenges and opportunities

  • Strong ability to analyze user requirements and create designs

  • Full project management and development life cycle experience

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
