Job Description:


An IT Asset Management Administrator, Senior works under general supervision and is responsible for the management and coordination of all IT Technology hardware and hardware inventory locations as assigned. Works closely with IT Hardware and Software Asset Managers and IT Procurement Analysts.



Maintains a working knowledge of the major computer systems used by as well as the products and services offered by the Bank. Responsible for managing all hardware inventory locations as assigned. Ensures that hardware is properly stored and secured. Executes management of all hardware inventory based on the processes and polices as defined by the IT Hardware Asset Manager. Provides back up support to IT Procurement Analysts. Participates in vendor/customer/user meetings as required. Exercises leadership, ensuring the completion of assignments within defined time-lines, budget controls and quality standards. May orient, train and assist more junior level Analysts and/or support staff. Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required. Where applicable and when performing the responsibilities of the job, employees are accountable to maintain Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and adhere to internal control policies and procedures.



High School diploma required.

1 year of experience as an IT Asset Management Administrator or equivalent experience managing technology inventory, preferably in a financial institution.



Working knowledge of the fundamental concepts, and procedures used in a purchasing and asset management environment. Basic understanding of ITIL best practice fundamentals. Working knowledge of the procurement life-cycle and best practices. Detail oriented. Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong networking and ability to access industry research. Advanced ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet established deadlines. Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures used in the banking industry. Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Thorough knowledge of flowcharting methods and reporting tools. Advanced ability to gather business and technology requirements. Strong knowledge of project management practices. Ability to work well with others, as well as independently. Ability to orient, train and assist more junior level Analysts. Ability to prioritize work and maintain productivity under deadlines. Ability to operate standard office equipment and/or equipment specific to assigned area. Ability to lift and carry 70 lbs. unassisted or assisting others (with or without) using mechanical equipment.
