Job Description

Our loss prevention officers are expected to deliver on-brand experience while patrolling the hotel to maintain a safe and secure environment for our guests and associates; in response to guest or associate calls for assistance or information; initiate investigations and prepare written reports as assigned; provide assistance to guests and associates who may be experiencing illness or injury; and accurate record-keeping of all duties on logs or other records. This position may be assigned to dispatch calls and monitor cameras. This job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an associate in this position may be asked to perform from time to time.



Requirements

To join our team as a Loss Prevention Officer, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent education. Be able to speak, read, write and understand English, bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Must have one-year previous hotel experience and/or previous security experience. Requires good communication skills to connect with our guests and associates, and should be knowledgeable in MS Office. Must be able to attain certification in first aid, CPR and AED, preferably already have certifications. Our team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel, so we ask that our associates have an open and flexible schedule.
