Job Summary:   

Under the general supervision of the Operations Manager, orders supplies required by the department in a timely, accurate, and cost effective manner.  Keeps Operations Manager informed of vendor specials so that Operations Manager can plan meals accordingly. Responsible for ordering supplies, food for all promotions and special events in a timely accurate manner. Consistently demonstrates behaviors that model the SJHS core values and the hospital’s mission statement.

  • Six months previous experience in purchasing or food service.
