We are looking for a Full Time Worker’s Compensation Billing Caseworker to work 8a-430p M-F.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities include the ability to:


  • Obtain billing authorizations for the use of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) from Insurance companies (e.g., Adjustors/Nurse Case Managers, TPAs (Third Party Administrators, Insurance Representatives)

  • Negotiate the best pricing for Zynex for devices as well as supplies with adjustors/insurance reps as needed

  • Provide requested information to Insurance carriers to include billing/coding support concerning devices, accessories, and supplies for recipients, insurance providers, physicians and the payer community

  • File denial appeals, perform code corrections and evaluate EOB’s when necessary

  • Communicate as needed with patient regarding the use and benefits of the DME item, and keeping the physician/provider, insurance company, and or TPA appraised of the patient status

  • Be responsible for accurate records and detailed memos in the access database billing system

  • Meet daily goals as outlined by Billing Dept Supervisor

  • Dress and interact professionally in an office environment

  • Follow all company policies

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required (unless otherwise noted):


  • Ability to perform with high degree of independent judgment, discretion, and confidentiality; and make complex decisions within short amount of time

  • Superior phone communication skills with providers, carriers, patients and trainees

  • Proficiency with office computers and Microsoft Office software

  • Exceptional communication (written & verbal) skills AND Excellent organizational skills

  • Strong attention to detail and good typing skills

Working Conditions:
