Position Summary:

We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Planner in our Kokomo, Indiana Corporate Technology Center.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Estimate manufacturing costs & investment for new products being pursued

  • Support program teams in getting capital appropriations approved for new programs

  • Work with the start center design teams to ensure new product designs allow for optimal manufacturing cost & quality

  • Perform manufacturing related studies such as "make/buy" evaluations on sub-assemblies

  • Participate in manufacturing strategy evaluations along with the broader Operations team

  • Support the Product Business Unit in the capital budgeting & forecasting activity

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering

  • 3 + years operations and finance experience

  • General understanding of financial terms, systems, and concepts

  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and web based databases.

  • Ability to communicate clearly with coworkers in multiple regions and multiple competencies (Operations, Engineering, Finance)

  • Multi-lingual: In addition to English, ability to speak and/or read Spanish, German, or Mandarin is an preferred.
