Georgia-Pacific’s Consumer Products division is seeking an Electrical Engineer for Green Bay Operations in Green Bay, WI. This position is responsible for providing engineering, design, construction and startup support for capital projects.
A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
Developing scopes, estimates and schedules for electrical portions of projects
Creating conceptual and detailed engineering and design
Developing drawings with assistance from electrical designers
Preparing specifications and bid packages for electrical equipment and installation services; participating in the bid evaluation and selection
Developing PLC and HMI Programming
Project field engineering, including construction, startup, and commissioning support
Preparing project status reports and related communications
Providing oversight of external engineering resources in support of capital projects, as needed
Supporting project budgeting, spending forecasts, project scheduling and procurement
Applying Market Based Management (MBM®) Philosophy to drive long term value creation
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Five (5) years or more of electrical engineering experience
- Willing and able to travel 10% of the time
What Will Put You Ahead?
Experience in the pulp and paper industry
Experience in construction support and start support
Experience in motor control, drives and PLC/HMI Controls
National Electrical Code experience
Experience with MS Office Software
