Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is seeking a candidate for a Nuclear Science &Technology (NS&T) Publications Coordinator. You will collect and manage information to compile publications, proposals, and other products for NS&T programs. You will perform technical writing/editing tasks. You will work closely in a team environment to develop creative and innovative products to influence program initiatives, while meeting tight project and proposal deadlines.

You will need the ability to ascertain NS&T information and work closely with subject matter experts in developing various written products. You will be performing work within established guidelines and standards that is varied and may be complex in nature. You will perform work using a wide range of information technology applications (e.g., word processing, graphics, layout, spreadsheets).

Tasks will include multiple tasks or projects of increasing scope, risk, and complexity. You will influences publication process improvements and assist with work acceptance coordination and development activities.


Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of experience in a research environment or an advanced degree plus 1 year of experience in a research environment.

Special Requirements and/or Training:
Demonstrates skills required to successfully perform technical writing and editing duties. Demonstrates highly effective oral and written communication skills. Demonstrates the ability to work well in team environment and to occasionally lead team efforts. Demonstrates a general knowledge of business computer technology (e.g., Windows, email, Microsoft Office products).
