You will put your leadership skills and years of experience to use by training and communicating with employees, balancing multiple medium-sized projects, and developing collaborative working relationships with business partners and technical experts. What you’ll do on a typical day:


  • Work closely with plant operations and human resources team to ensure an “open door” climate exists resulting in excellent customer service

  • Manage all aspects of the human resources department and supervise staff members

  • Inform senior management and operations of internal and external HR developments that affect overall effectiveness

  • Compile reports and provide to upper management

  • Ensure HR office is in compliance with all corporate policies and directives

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • 7 or more years of human resources experience in a manufacturing environment at a manager level

  • Experience in employee relations, policy and procedure administration, recruiting and staffing, and HRIS and time-keeping system knowledge

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs

  • Ability to provide management with proactive ideas on creating and maintaining a positive employee relations climate

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
