POSITION OPEN: 

Sales Manager – Walmart Wireless

EMPLOYEE TYPE:

POSITION DESCRIPTION: 


  • Leads, coaches, guides, mentors, develops, and manages a team of high performing Sales Associates across approximately three retail locations

  • Inspires and motivates the store teams to achieve assigned sales and business targets

  • Responsible and accountable to each store’s sales and operational performance

  • Serves customer directly, as well working side by side with Associates, coaching, developing, and training on selling skills

  • Leads the recruiting efforts within assigned locations to maintain required staffing levels of top quality talent in all locations

  • Allocates time across multiple stores, ensuring excellence in each location

  • Leads the process of managing store team performance to ensure direct reports are on track with performance goals and competency development

  • Analyzes performance data and regularly reports on store strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities, taking appropriate actions based on store needs

  • Builds strong, productive relationships with in-store management and associates

  • Leads the operational execution for the assigned stores, accountable for compliance in scheduling, inventory & cash drawer control, and maintaining merchandising standards

  • Complies with Company policies and procedures in all locations within the district

  • Uses sound ethical considerations to guide decisions and act in accordance with Company values

  • Exhibits exceptional skills in business relationships, analysis, accountability, recruiting, systems processes, time management and leadership

  • Exemplifies a customer centric mentality

  • Represents the model of professionalism, work ethic, and determination of Premium and the client

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: 


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Minimum two years management experience in wireless industry or retail sales environment

  • Experience in or with Walmart preferred

  • Excellent communication skills required

  • Proven track record in multi-tasking, demand management, problem solving, organization, and prioritization skills

  • Extensive local travel to assigned locations

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MapPoint) proficiency
