The Sr. Software Engineer (preferred full stack) position is responsible for assisting in the design and code development to support our technology driven online experience.  They will work closely with the Product Owner(s), UX, and other Developer team members to collaborate on solving business problems.


This role requires working within a variety of technologies and languages including but not limited to Javascript, HTML/CSS, Node.js, NoSQL, Docker and Cloud-based Hosting Infrastructure.   


• Assists in the design, coding, and testing of technical solutions.  

• Hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript. 

• Demonstrate ability to work in a team-based environment.

• Demonstrate an understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.

• Understand software development lifecycle processes and how it applies to technology development within an organization.

• Adheres to coding standards defined by technical management.

• Sets high standards of performance for oneself. 

• Demonstrate ability to work in a team-based environment.

• Establishes responsible deadlines and personal work plans.

• Seeks input from mentors and supervisors and actively applies feedback received to day-to-day work and strives to improve performance.

• 8+ years experience in designing and developing data-driven web applications in various client-side technology solutions such as Vue.js, Angular, Backbone.js or React.

• 5+ experience in developing HTML and CSS.

• 5+ experience with NoSQL or Key-Value databases such as MongoDB and Redis.

• 5+ experience using software version control systems such as Subversion or Git.

• Working knowledge of integrating with 1st and 3rd party API’s.

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science/related degree or equivalent work experience.

• Exposure or knowledge of CSS preprocessors such as Sass or Less.

• Exposure to Continues Integration & Delivery Tools such as CircleCi, Travis or Jenkins.

• Exposure or knowledge of containerized development environments such as Docker.
