Nemours is seeking a Psychologist, Trauma to join our team in Wilmington, DE.

We are seeking a psychologist with a strong background and interest in providing evidence-based interventions for children who have experienced trauma and who have a passion for working with diverse patient populations.  This psychologist will provide support for children evaluated for abuse in our Child Advocacy Center as well as participate in a new medical clinical for children in the foster care system.  In addition, this psychologist will have opportunities to collaborate with primary care colleagues serving in high risk, under resourced areas where trauma is highly prevalent.   ​

Qualifications include a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-approved clinical psychology program, a pre-doctoral Internship from an APA-approved site, and at least one year of postdoctoral experience in a medical setting.  Preference will be given to candidates who have training in TF-CBT.  Ideal candidates will have strong skills in communication, consultation, and interests in program development.

I. duPont Hospital for Children (Nemours.org) is a state-of-the-art facility and is located in a suburban setting, a half hour from Philadelphia.   The Autism Center will have newly space specifically developed for this program adjacent to the main hospital building and in the same physical space as the rest of Behavioral Health and Developmental Medicine.   Academic appointment through Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University is strongly encouraged and supported.
