Under the direction of the Director of Innovation at the Livermore, CA office, the Associate Brand Manager will thrive in a culture that is creative, brand-savvy, entrepreneurial, fast-paced, solutions focused, team oriented, zealously cost conscious, and fun. S/he will be a creative and results-driven innovator, with strong competencies in innovation strategy, concept ideation, new product development, commercialization, and route to market strategy.

Someone who is competent assessing industry opportunities and developing creative concepts to fit these opportunities.Has experience with consumer insights, category analytics, product development, and packaging.

Creative Leader: Intuitively “gets” brands and has the ability to direct creative; highly detail-oriented with ‘zero-defect’ orientation, and zealous about ensuring all communication is an exceptional expression of the Brand.
Efficient Project Leader: Effective in managing teams and guiding projects through the system.Conveys a sense of urgency throughout project lifecycle and holds team accountable for execution.Strong written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to listen and understand different perspectives.

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field required, OR equivalent work experience.
MBA preferred but not required
4+ years’ experience in CPG brand management or Innovation.
Wine or spirits industry and/or food/beverage experience preferred
Ability to work weekends, weekdays, holidays and some evenings
Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, Internet and computer aptitude
Discretion with confidential information
Must have ability to multitask, work well under pressure and be able to adhere to strict deadlines
Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
Excellent analytical, organizational & interpersonal skills with attention to detail
Provide good verbal and written communications to all levels of management, both internally and externally

Position operates in a professional office environment
Ability to travel frequently between home office, corporate office and vendor/agency sites
