Koch Fertilizer Beatrice, LLC is currently seeking a Rotating Equipment Reliability Engineer to join our Beatrice, NE team.
A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
Own preventative and predictive maintenance programs for rotating machinery and related equipment
Continuous engineering support to improve and maintain rotating machinery reliability for the plant
Provide technical support for Rotating Machinery Technicians for maintaining equipment
Manage small projects involving rotating machinery reliability, and focused improvements.
Provide subject matter expertise for large capital projects to the corporate engineering support group
Collect and analyze reliability data for rotating machinery and develop strategies for improved performance.
Participate in root cause failure analysis for unplanned downtime incidents and implement identified improvements
Continually evaluate equipment for possible improvement to process safety and reliability
What You Will Need:
4+ years of reliability engineering or maintenance experience in an industrial environment
Experience developing work and reliability processes on centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, pumps, steam turbines, fans, gearboxes, and conveyors.
Experience developing processes or implementing projects
Root cause failure analysis (RCFA) investigation experience
Experience in communicating complex ideas and presenting information/ training to diverse groups.
Ability to work extended hours during turnarounds as well as occasional nights or weekends during call-outs as needed
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather
Ability to sit, stand or kneel as needed
Ability to climb stairs, ladders and work at heights of approximately 25-100 ft.
Occasional exposure to fumes/airborne particles
Unassisted physical mobility around a plant
