Location: Chester Township, Pennsylvania
SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of this position is to assist manufacturing in producing material in the operations. Personnel should be capable of following direction, making good observations during processing and have basic manufacturing skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; other duties may be assigned.
Understand assembly related processes. Be able to perform assembly or coating tasks at or greater than the defined rate and to quality standards with some direct supervision.
Read, know, understand, and follow your responsibilities for all processes in the area in which you are working.
Able to detect and report to supervisor when process isn’t running as it should or something doesn’t appear correct.
Maintain and provide daily production counts on each assignment worked.
Properly perform all positions on the Autoloader equipment including payoff, middle, table, loader and end capper (if applicable).
Acquiring all necessary supplies, feeding, splicing and loading material.
Properly document the coils used and units produced per the Operations Sheets/SOP.
Ensure final units meet all pertinent requirements per the Operations Sheets/SOP.
Properly move material into and out of the glove box to reduce potential exposure to air/moisture.
Must meet / exceed production, safety and quality goals.
Wear proper PPE for area in which you are working.
Lift and move products as required and/or directed.
Perform necessary housekeeping.
Insure that you are using the proper tools for each task.
Properly maintain and clean tools required to perform tasks.
Follow safety procedures.
Weighs, screens, and blends material in accordance with batch history sheets, process specifications and chemical specifications.
Accurate use of weights, balances, and gauges, if necessary.
Understands and operates equipment to perform testing on various unit configurations to test for different parameter requirements.
Assists process engineers and others to collect in-process data as required.
Good Communication skills

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1-2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
