What We Do
We are a global team that develops Credit & Rates trading workflow automation software for the firm and its clients, playing an active role in the shift from voice to electronic trading. Team members combine engineering expertise, close daily collaboration with trading / sales, and capital markets / client business expertise to deliver solutions that advance the division's electronic trading goals.
Your Impact
As a strategist who sits in the Securities Division, you will play an integral role on the trading floor. You may create cutting-edge derivative pricing models and empirical models to provide insight into market behavior, or develop automated trading algorithms for the firm and its clients. You might be involved in analyzing exposures and structuring transactions to meet client needs, or involved in designing and developing complex parallel computing architectures, electronic trading tools, and advanced algorithms. Throughout the Securities Division, strategists are using quantitative and technological techniques to solve complex business problems.
Participate in all project lifecycle phases: analyze, design, test, research, support & maintain. You will build expertise in front-office e-trading software, capital markets/client service, and trading automation strategies. Collaborate closely with traders, salespeople and other strategists. Typical projects include writing software to automate trading workflow, reacting to market developments by covering new trading protocols/product types, and building safety controls into electronic trading systems.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors, Masters or Doctoral degree in a STEM discipline
At least 2 years of experience with an object oriented programming language in an enterprise environment
Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Strong Java developer
Existing experience of, or a willingness to learn about, market dynamics and conventions, and of different products' behaviours and specifications
Experience building large-scale distributed systems
Associate / VP level
