Job Description:

Old National Bank has an opportunity for an Audit Team Member within the corporate audit team. The Audit Team Member will facilitate and/or participates in projects that require working with operating management to understand products, organizational activities and systems, and to provide quality audit services which meet department performance measures. The Audit Team Member identifies internal control structures and strategies through appropriate forms of investigation and consultation, keeps management informed of project status and successfully prioritizes work in order to complete necessary assignments according to project plans. The ideal candidate will have audit, SOX, compliance, bank, trust or other relevant experience.

Essential Duties:
Planning Audit Projects Participates in the development of work plans or risk assessment processes for assigned project steps and deliverables.
Performance of Audit Work Effectively executes and documents testing associated with the field work phase of the audit, including ensuring that audit program steps are adequately satisfied, appropriate conclusions reached, and issues documented. Successfully prioritizes work in order to complete necessary assignments according to project plans.
Report Writing Expresses objectives, procedures, results and business impacts, clearly and logically in both written and verbal form.
Sarbanes-Oxley Assist SOX Manager with testing/review of primary controls.
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or business-related field.
2-3 years of public accounting experience or experience in banking operations, compliance, lending, audit or other relevant business experience.
Professional certification/designation a plus.
Thorough understanding of auditing/examination techniques.
Strong management, organizational, analytical and computer skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage and execute multiple projects within required timeframes and expectations.
Dedicated to quality, accuracy and timeliness.
