HII-TSD, Integrated Mission Solutions Group (Camber Corporation) is currently seeking a Senior Capture Manager to help grow our defense based training systems solutions, cyber, and mission readiness work out of one of our office locations in either Orlando, FL; Fairfax, VA; San Diego, CA; or Virginia Beach, VA.
Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):
Manage capture of new business opportunities from opportunity identification through pursuit, capture and successful proposal submission.
Lead capture for complex and technical bids, to include identifying and comprehending clients’ requirements and buying patterns, developing complex technical solution options, and building a cost-competitive industry team that can deliver client impact through a winning bid.
Drive market-based competitive intelligence, market assessments, client assessments, and strategic planning efforts in support of expanding specific capability-based opportunity portfolios and pipeline.
Leverage client leadership and extensive community relationships within related market segments in defense industry and government clients.
Lead complex negotiations with industry partners to build teams in support of large complex procurements.
Manage key stakeholder relationships and keep the business leadership team informed and engaged in advancing strategic partnerships with clients and industry partners.
Qualifications and Experience:
8+ years of experience with the management of complex solutions and development capture efforts for defense community and government clients
Experience leading successful (single-award) captures valued at more than $50M and developing complex technical solutions
Experience developing and maintaining effective business relationships with clients and industry partners
Experience with successful execution of all phases of a large and multi-year capture effort, including strategic planning, teaming, proposals, market, or competitive and price-to-win analyses
Ability to communicate multi-step and interdependent activities effectively to capture teams and ensure efficient execution of captured efforts
Ability to lead teams and stakeholders throughout the capture process
Ability to write effectively in response to RFI’s and proposals, and to prepare and present charts in a clear, concise and compelling manner.
Proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and use of GovWin and maintaining an opportunity management system/customer relationship management system
BA or BS degree required
Previous P&L, program management, or technical leadership experience in one or more areas as follows: modeling and simulation, training systems development, IT, cybersecurity, or systems engineering
Current DOD customer understanding and relationships relevant to our targeted growth areas
Secret clearance required
