Job Description Summary-Job Family - Account Management: Responsible for maintaining effective long-term relationships with an assigned customer/group of customers/region. Serves as the primary interface for all products, and creates demand for the organisation's products by raising their profile with customers. Identifies, develops and closes new sales opportunities. Includes Key/National Account Managers. Includes provider and payer customers.

Job Family Group - Sales: Responsible for the sales and customer services to promote and support the organisation’s products.

Job Description- Establish and manage to territory goals to enable VBU to meet and exceed performance targets. Travel 20% of the time or 4 to 6 over nights a month.

Interpersonal Skills:

•Ability to listen and understand customer needs.

•Ability to translate customer needs into a customer value proposition.

•Applying flexible and creative thinking when developing new business solutions and value propositions that meet the needs of the customer.

•Communicating value propositions using written and oral presentation methods.

•Ability to negotiate and gain customer agreement for solutions that benefit both GSK and the customer.

•Influencing and facilitating the execution of business plans that impact multiple teams and individuals.

•Demonstrates the GSK values with all decision-making

Responsible for managing several projects at any given time . Lead the development and execution of the Business-to-business selling process for targeted key accounts in coordination with sales force teammates and home office stakeholders:

•Account research, planning and goal setting.

•Account needs and opportunities identification.

•Value proposition development and delivery.

•Purchasing and implementation / first order facilitation.

•Value proposition reinforcement.

•Account expansion strategy and tactics.

Essential Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree

At least 8 years pharmaceutical sales experience
