Job Description
Summary: Lead, organize, design, implement and monitor reporting and planning solutions with the aid of business intelligence and analytical technologies. Work ranges from the architecture (including the designing of data models) through to providing business intelligence reporting solutions (including all integration to and from the data warehouse along with its related Master Data management needs).

Tasks & Responsibilities:
Identify opportunities across the corporation for business intelligence solutions and implement end to end from requirements gathering to deployment.
Provide hands-on technical expertise on overall architecture, technical design, configuration, implementation, and production support activities of the SAP BI/BW and NATIVE HANA technology.
Determine the architectural standards and right data ingestion approach from disparate source applications using different real time and batch enabling technologies into Native HANA.
Serve as the Technical Owner and point of contact approving the technical architecture of data models, reports for domain specific solutions.
Serve as a business partner coordinating between internal clients and onsite / offshore IT teams.
Participate and leads research and development efforts (proofs of concept, prototypes), as subject matter experts, when introducing new technologies.
Oversee the delivery of data management solutions by leading project teams in a matrix environment.
Work with other technical subject matter experts and Data Manager to meet both immediate and long-term business needs.
Provide guidance on BI security setup and enforces data governance standards and processes.
Develop functional and technical specifications with cross-functional groups that address potential data sources, business and performance metrics.
Administer the processes regarding data flow and data quality to improve data accuracy, viability and value.
Assist Data Management Manager with managing business intelligence project expectations, and ensures the consistent execution and quality of delivery.
Build and enhance BW objects such as InfoObjects, InfoCubes, InfoSources/Data Sources, Master Data, Transformations, Update Rules, DSO, Extractors, Infosets, Aggregates, Process Chains, DTPs, User Exits, BADI and HANA objects like Schemas, Calculated, Analytical or Scripted Views using HANA Modeler.
Designs reports and Dashboards using BOBJ reporting Suite.

Skills & Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required.
Minimum of 7 years of SAP BW experience, including 3+ years deploying NATIVE HANA and 1+ years of ABAP / SQL development.
Must have hands on experience with implementing large SAP BW, HANA and BOBJ projects as a technical developer.
Must have experience with processes around requirements gathering, documentation, data testing, report writing, master data and data management governance.
General understanding and technical expertise of enterprise-class ETL/BI tools (Oracle BIEE, IBM Cognos, SAS, Informatica, Tableau).
Deep understanding of HANA modelling of views, SAP BW application, and SAP BI suite including Analysis for Office, BOBJ and Dashboard and Lumira.
HANA Modeling experience along with HANA related development languages (SQL Script, HTML5, Javascript, Java).
Knowledge on HANA Security aspects with respect to system level, object level and data level security (Analytic Privileges).
Knowledge on BASIS aspects of HANA including dynamic tier.
Familiarity with AGILE/Scrum development with project management skills preferred.
Experience in the Utilities Sector and its related SAP business content preferred.
Proven ability to work effectively as a member of various teams in a matrixed environment, which may include company personnel, project resources and third-party/outsourced vendors.
Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects.
Solid communication and relationship building with cross functional technical teams, technology vendors and key stakeholders in the business required.
Demonstrated an aptitude to learn new technologies.
