Acquisition Logistics Analyst - Huntsville, AL

Develops, writes, and coordinates strategies, logistic plans, and other documentation in support of weapons system acquisition lifecycle. Participates in the development of budgetary requirements for adequate logistics support. Collaborates to develop, synchronize, and integrate logistics into master schedules, requests for proposals, cost estimates, plans, strategies, tests and other acquisition-related activities. Analyzes, reviews, and provides logistic support regarding plans, proposals, and bases of estimate.

Assesses system deployment plans to assure distribution and support planning is substantive and accurate. Develops improved planning framework and economic viability through development of the strategic planning framework. Analyzes stovepipes across logistics mission boundaries. Develops guiding principles for decision making and problem solving. Conducts analysis, planning, and detailed design of logistics support requirement activities for readiness of air and missile defense weapon systems.

  • BS in related field
  • Minimum 9 years related experience
  • DoD 5000 series Weapons System Acquisition experience
  • Approximately 25% travel
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance

  • Experience supporting Pre-Milstone B / Engineering, Manufacturing and Development programs
  • Experiene working with depots
