Location: Medford, New York
8+ Years working in healthcare IT. Prefer at least 4-5 in Epic environment.
Bachelor’s degree required – Master’s preferred. Healthcare Science, Nursing, etc., preferred.
Minimum of an Epic Ambulatory certification (or Epic Ambulatory administrator) is preferred.
Extensive Epic Ambulatory implementation and upgrade experience… PMP a plus, (PMP does not substitute for direct staff reporting experience).
7+ years’ experience managing and leading individual staff required, (e.g., hiring, firing, corrective action process, performance evaluations, mentoring, scheduling, career planning).
Ability to immediately lead 6-8 analysts with varying levels of knowledge and experience.
Previous build experience may be helpful, but not required.
Career history demonstrating progressive, increasing responsibilities and roles/positions.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment.
Oversee implementation and integration of other ancillary applications, e.g., MyChart, Dragon, Imprivata, Phoenix MedCom, documentation tools, orders, charge capture build, etc.
Experience in department budgeting (not just project budgeting).
Process-oriented with a critical eye for detail, yet able to see the big picture.
Strong verbal and written communicator who interacts well with senior managers, physicians, clinical staff, and cross functional team leaders.
Exceptional analytical skills necessary to manage complex changes with a variety of interdependent pieces.
Customer and internal stakeholder driven.
